Kiel Area School District's current progress and future goals related to improving pupil postsecondary outcomes include:
- Create and implement a Family Engagement plan for parents and students
- Create and implement individual planning conferences for 5th and 8th grade students
- Create and implement individual planning conferences for 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students
- Student led conference
- Employability skills grades (4x’s a year)
- Academic and Career Planning Monthly Newsletter (Smore)
- Create and implement a staff professional development plan
- Create and implement staffing procedures to train staff on Xello Platform
- Including and not limited to the creation of staff profile
- Increase staffs’ capacity to engage in meaningful ACP discussion through business partnerships
- Require staff to participate in ONE Academic and Career Planning event in the district per year
- Build a comprehensive 3-12 ACP curriculum that expands on the state requirements in order offer our students a more holistic education.
