Principal's Message

Hello Kiel Middle School Students and Families!

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! Our staff is excited to work with your children for another phenomenal year at Kiel Middle School!

I am looking forward to another year as Principal at Kiel Middle School. Prior to being at Kiel Middle School, I was the Associate Principal at L.B. Clarke Middle School in Two Rivers for four years. Before that, I was a 6th Grade Math and Science Teacher at L.B. Clarke Middle School for five years. During my time in Two Rivers, I also served as the middle school Athletic Director for six years and the Summer School Principal for three years.

I have been married to my amazing wife, Megan, who is a teacher in Two Rivers, for seven years. We have three beautiful children, Maddox, 5 years old, Myla, 3 years old, and Camden, 6 months old. We have a big, lovable GoldenDoodle named Bart. We currently live just outside Reedsville, which is about 20 miles from Kiel. I grew up in Reedsville and graduated from Reedsville High School in 2008. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics. In 2017 I received my Master’s Degree from Marian University in Educational Leadership.

At Kiel Middle School you can expect building relationships with students as one of the top priorities. Our staff is incredibly dedicated to meeting the needs of our students and being a trusted adult in their lives. Delivering high quality instruction through best teaching practices is a focus of Kiel Middle School so that all students are engaged and can be successful. Also, students at Kiel Middle School have a variety of co-curricular opportunities, clubs, and other activities that they can participate in.

Kiel Middle School is dedicated to providing personalized learning opportunities to our students to develop leaders in the community. Through a safe learning environment, students will have learning opportunities that are meaningful to them and be able to show continuous growth throughout the school year. Our staff will work every day to accomplish goals with our students and form trusting relationships.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Kiel Middle School is to actively challenge all students to grow and develop above and beyond expectations by offering a wide variety of positive experiences that address the transitional needs of middle school students in a safe and supportive environment.

The district-wide belief statements reflect the needs of middle school students.

The middle school student is going through rapid, dramatic changes physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally.

Student success is promoted by an environment which reflects and adjusts to middle school student needs.
