Time to wake up!  School is back in session!!!  No more sleeping in 

This is my twelfth year at Kiel and I am looking forward to another year of having the privilege of working with the 5th- 8th grade band students and the Learn To Play and Guitar classes for 7th & 8th grade students.  I also run a Jazz Band for any interested Kiel Middle School student, as well as coaching students in Prose and Readers Theatre during our Forensics season.  I absolutely love hearing the students on their instruments and all the changes they experience in these first few years of playing.

I grew up in Hartford, WI and eventually found my way north where I received my BA in Instrumental Music from Lakeland College, now Lakeland University.   I reside within the city of Kiel with my husband, Larry and two of our three wonderful children, Abby & Theo.  Our oldest, Emily,  is in Oshkosh pursing her Music Teaching degree!  In my time away from school I enjoy performing with our local groups, the Kiel Municipal Band, the Kiel Area Theatre and providing music for my church, as well as "geeking out" over many sci-fi and fantasy movies, tv shows and book series, hanging out with my pug, Mouse, hosting foreign exchange students and having a donut at our local Sunrise Bakery!  I've recently started running as well!  Never too old to try something new :-)
