My name is Wendy Dvorak and this is my eleventh year teaching third grade at Zielanis.  I started my career teaching third grade in Fond du Lac, and then decided to become a Reading Teacher.  I spent two years as a Reading Teacher in Manitowoc, yet missed the classroom.  I was fortunate enough to be hired in Kiel in 1998.  This was also the year I received my Master's Degree in Education. 

I am married and have two daughters, Grace who is six, and Hannah who is three.  After having my second child, I knew I wanted to be at home more, but didn't want to leave teaching altogether.  I am lucky to be able to teach part-time; I job share with Bridget August, and this is our fourth year together. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family.  We spend a lot of time during the summer at our cottage in Michigan.  I also enjoy reading and scrapbooking.
