Welcome!

My name is Connie Lichtenwald.  I teach 8th grade Social Studies the Middle School.  I graduated from UW Stevens Point with a degree in Elementary Education grades kindergarten through eight, Learning Disabilities and Emotional Disturbance kindergarten through grade nine.  Previously I have taught a variety of grade levels in Milwaukee and New Holstein.  This is my twenty-sixth year in education. 

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and doing a wide variety of hobbies and activities.  I am a 2nd Lt in the Wisconsin Wing Civil Air Patrol, which is an auxiliary of the Untied States Air Force.   Many of my weekends and time during the summer is spent serving my country by participating in a wide variety of training exercises to better serve the citizens of the United States.  Teaching students about United States history, government and citizenship is important because they are our future leaders.
