I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself. This year I have the privilege of working with your child as our Middle School Literacy Specialist. I plan on providing each student with the best educational experience possible. In our classroom, I will try to develop diverse learners by providing lively, interactive and beneficial educational opportunities. I am committed to a high quality of education and to keeping adolescence at the heart of my teaching. I believe our society needs teachers who are creative, independent thinkers who take on leadership roles in our profession, demonstrate academic excellence, and commit themselves to high ethical standards. Individualization is extremely important for students to succeed. I will encourage my students to be the best that they can be. I believe that education should be a wonderful, memorable, and knowledgeable experience for everyone involved. As a teacher, I will always address topics with an open mind.
