Youth Apprenticeship

A Youth Apprenticeship is a one or two year “earn while you learn” program for high school juniors and seniors consisting of work and related classroom instruction in a chosen occupation. Training is received on-the-job where the employer teaches the skills of the occupation. This is augmented by taking courses that are related to that occupation. No matter what the youth apprentice decides to do after high school, they will be more prepared for success because of their apprenticeship! Class of 2027 and 2028! You’re invited to attend the Youth Apprenticeship (YA) Hiring Event & Career Fair on Wednesday, February 26, from 11:30 AM–1:00 PM at Lakeland University (see the attached flyer for details).

This event is a great opportunity to:

Meet and talk with local employers
Learn about career pathways and Youth Apprenticeship options
Connect with employers who are ready to hire students for a variety of opportunities

Important: To attend, students must complete the Youth Apprenticeship application (LINK) prior to the event. This helps ensure you’re eligible to speak with employers who are actively hiring.
