Kiel High School Mental Health Resources
Mental Health Resources
We believe that the combined commitment and support from families, school personnel, and community resources will result in safe, healthy, and happy youth. This is why our district has partnered with the following resources to support those in our area. We understand that navigating the support options can be a new and sometimes overwhelming process, and we aim to help local families connect with the resource that makes the most sense for them and their needs.
Counseling is an excellent way to learn new skills, develop self-confidence, become more aware of others’ views and experiences, practice new behaviors, and better understand how to deal with the problems life presents. For those looking for support and information regarding student mental health options, please view the information on this page, and reach out to your child's school counselor with questions and concerns.

Lighthouse Counseling
Lighthouse Counseling is our school-based program designed to improve access to clinical mental health services for children and youth who are unable to obtain care elsewhere in the community. This option uses your insurance and offers self-pay options to students and their families who are interested in a more long-term therapy program. Students attend private virtual therapy sessions at school with a licensed therapist. In-person counseling is not available at this time through this resource. For more information or for new client paperwork, please contact your child's school counselor.
